The Green Bay Packers released Terrence Murphy yesterday.
This is a sad story. This kid had it all: size, speed, work ethic and poise. A second round pick still makes the huge dollars and he looked like a real prospect in limited action last year. Had he not been injured, he would be competing for a starting spot this year or at least a shoe in for the top kick returning spot.
I wish him well and hope that he had a backup plan for his life.
