Anger: Dean's new word
Dean has a post with a lot going for it, passion, good sense and being completely correct.
Reading over the definition of FASCISM makes the point that many of the most whacked out critics of the GWOT fall into this category. I know that many opponents of The President like to use this label, along with references to Nazis and Pol Pot, to describe him and his administration. But look at the argument Dean makes and you can come to only one honest conclusion.
In fact, I don’t think Dean has gone far enough.
To be clear, I'm not talking about everyday liberals or others who have issues with the Iraq liberation. In my opinion, these are the worst of the lot. The true fascists are easy to spot, if not as fascists at least moonbat/nutjobs. The people that willing campaign, support, defend and vote for the party that coddles this lunatic fringe are doing a disservice to the country and the cause of freedom. Dean makes nice with the center/left/moderates buy tossing out everyone’s favorite whackjob that somehow gets associated with conservatives, Pat Buchanan. Yep, he is a fascist, a nutjob, a moron, a racist and if anyone in the Republican Party were to suggest that he be seated next to a former Republican President at the National Convention they would get laughed right out of the room. Where what Michael Moore at the Democrat National Convention?
If these people that Dean is speaking of are not Fascist Sympathizers, they should be outspoken in their denouncement of the elements of their party that truly are fascists. If they cannot generate a majority of like-minded members, they should consider a new party.
We on the right have our morons as well, but ours don’t endanger the republic or actively root for the downfall of Western Civilization. Our whackjobs don’t represent the mainstream of the party. When choosing which idiots I would rather put up with on my side, I will take those on the right. If/when they get to be a danger to the nation, I will fight them.
