A few observations:

ITS ARRON RODGERS!
The #2 QB in the draft slides all the way to #24 for the Green Bay Packers. I felt really bad for the kid, having to sit in that empty hall waiting to be picked, but I was rooting for him to slide to my beloved Packers. This was not a pick the Mike Sherman would have had the stones to make. He is entering the final year of his contract and I am sure that he was working every angle to get someone that would have immediate impact. The wisdom of the Packer Board of Directors was on display today. Ted Thompson makes the right pick for the future of the team and resists the temptation to take yet another crappy defender in the first round (see Jamal Reynolds). The rest of the draft should be used on defenders, pick em all and let God sort em out.

Third overall, Braylon Edwards, might just be the most handsome man alive and I mean that “Like a Viking”.

What the hell is Denver smoking? Mo Clarett? In the third round? Must be some good stuff!
