Anger: Scene from NO
I was watching the news coverage and they were doing a story about the cops going door to door getting people to leave the city when I saw something that got me really angry.
They were escorting a man from his high-and-dry house to an evacuation vehicle (looked like one of the world famous Wisconsin Ducks) he was led right past a car parked in his driveway.
Why the hell didn't he leave in that car instead of being a drain on the resources of disaster relief? Why are we looking at this loser that can't use the resources at his disposal to exit the disaster area? Was he too stupid to leave before the hurricane hit? If so, why not leave when it was clear that it was in his best interest to do so? Why are we wasting time, money and supplies on someone like this?
Dammit! People suck.
Update: It looks like I am not the only one that noticed the cars in driveways issue. Hog on ice has a great post where this is mentioned. You just gotta love the title
