Sloth: Games

Wondering what was wrong with games today? Wonder no more.

There is not much to add here, the author hits all the beefs about games from the gamer's perspective, and for the few good people still trapped in the industry. The part about "Something New" is a common lament among industry veterans and crates are a long standing inside joke.

I personally think that the idea that because "all gamers" are connected to the Internet then we can ship bugs and crap just to make a quarterly reporting cycle is one of the biggest and most destructive notions that many developers have.
